    Breakfast started too late for early walkers, with only limited options available before 8:30 AM. The walls between rooms were quite thin. The exterior of the hotel didn't match the online images, disappointing.

    Units with comfortable bed. Marvellous location in the fairly quiet area, close to the pubs, shops and restaurants of Ambleside, Ambleside and the centre. Plus, 15 minutes drive from Rydal Mount Museum.

    Wi-Fi signal was very weak.

    A fantastic selection of breakfast options including homemade delights that impressed me! The location is perfect for exploring, just a leisurely stroll from local spots.

    While the owner was friendly, their constant presence felt a bit overwhelming at times, detracting from the ambiance.
